Previously used as a laundry room and a storage area, Corsini converted the space into 13 modern apartments decorated with his designs, one of which was the PD2 floor lamp.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eThe loft space of La Pedrera was restored according to Gaudí's original vision in 1991. Most of Corsini's design was torn down and disposed of during the renovation, but the architect and gallerist Joaquim Ruiz Millet located the PD2 Floor Lamp and saved it from being thrown away; this led to Ruiz Millet and Corsini collaborating and recreating Corsini's original designs.\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003e\u003cbr data-mce-fragment=\"1\"\u003eRuiz Millet designed the ABC Table lamp as a tribute to Corsini. A smaller version of the PD2 floor lamp, the table light maintains the characteristics of the original light whilst fetching new possibilities for the use of the lamp.
