With space for approximately 25 books per level, it maximises storage while maintaining a minimal footprint.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAssembled without screws, tools, or traditional fixings, the Buchstabler shelving unit uses an ingenious string-tension system: a single cord connects the base and top, and when twisted, creates enough pressure to hold the entire structure firmly together. This clever mechanism becomes nearly invisible once the Buchstabler bookcase is filled with books.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe structure can be configured at coffee-table height, or built up to seven levels to form a vertical tower reaching 174cm.
